I just converted The Matrix Reloaded onto my TJ37 for viewing on Kinoma. This is what I did: I had an .avi of matrix on my computer. I dubbed it using virtualdub into the correct resolution and compression and all that, saving it again in .avi format, then imported it to memory stick using image converter. You MUST install the image converter version from your TJ37 CD in order to import movie files to your handheld.

To quote another thread:...

open virtualdub and load the file ( now an avi). go to compression, select divx (if its not there go to the divx website and download the free version), then set the compression to around 300 - 350

go to filters, select resize, resize to the dimesnions of your palm.

Go to video drop down, select frame rate, decimate by two.

go to audio, select conversion, select 22050 khz, 8bit, mono.

go to audio, select compression, select ADPCM or MP3, select 22050 khz mono

Your ready to go. If you want to reduce the file size even further, decimate the frame rate by 3.
there you go!

Instead of VirtualDub you might prefer TMpgEnc. It's slightly easier to use than VirtualDub, I find.

TMpgEnc produces mpeg1 files that can be converted into MQV using IC 1.1.
