FOR A SOLID YEAR I HAVE LOVED MY NZ 90. HOWEVER, BEING HONEST, IT HAS MAJOR LIMITATIONS. THE POOR MEMORY, NO COMPACT FLASH SUPPORT, TERRIBLE BATTERY LIFE, ALL ARE MAJOR PROBLEMS. PLUS, THE NEW PALM TUNGSTEN HAS A 400 MHZ PROCESSOR AND 64 MB OF RAM. TAPWARES ZODIAC HAS 128MB OF MEMORY FOR 399.00!!! PLUS, POCKET PC'S HAVE GREAT SOFTWARE, AND ALL OF THE ABOVE. BUT THE FINAL DAGGER IS SONY'S MOVE AWAY FROM PDA'S LIKE THE NZ90. THEY DISCONTINUED ALL PDA'S EXCEPT THE NEW 55 AND THE UX50. NEITHER OF THOSE PDA'S FIT MY NEEDS. I'M NOT SURE WHERE SONY IS GOING, BUT RIGHT NOW THEIR BORING AND BEHIND THE COMPETITION.

who said there was no Compact Flash support? i use my NZ's camera quite often and even though i own a seperate 3.2mp camera, i still shoot at a 2.0mp size anyway. no other PDA has a comparable camera to date.

and, there aren't that many programs for PDAs that will exceed 5 megs so at the moment even 64mb for programs is more than enough. by the time developers make programs without being restricted in their file sizes, there wiil be even better PDAs out.

Clie is much more fun than other PDAs!

true.. to me Clie (especially the NZ) is the best for on-the-go multimedia and entertainment. other Palm makers may have models with better and improved hardware but most really don't give out the FUN in them IMO..

most apps don't use max 200Mhz yet ..

u can use cf memory card .. do search here ..

16mb ram in nz90 is enough .. u can add more mem stick or cf flash mem ..

u also can use jackflash to get more ram inside the nz ..

battery life .. u can get update patch file from sony to get longer life .. and older model of battery that comes with your nz is probably old version .. u need to buy new version to get longer battery life .. u can take 100+ pictures with flash i think ..

and the NZ is over 15 months old or something like that
you can't expect anything that old to "be up to date" for that long
