I wrote to DSI and Pocket Armor hoping that they would be making a metal case for the NX70V, but the sales department wrote me back to say they had no intention of making a case for this model of Clie. If anyone knows of any other choices besides the Innopocket, please let me know. My biggest concern is that the case does not allow the Clie to be secured inside. All that keeps it in is the foam padding which undoubtedly will compact as the case gets older.

my question is why do people want cases for their clie nx's?
the thing really has a built in case. I could understand if you plan on dropping it, and want some cushion for it, but it seems like more of a hassle to have a case.

I am a PE Teacher and often don't have pockets. I have a leather binder that I purchased from Franklin Covey. The inside back cover is made of a material that velcro will stick to. I can place my Clie inside the back cover, and when I am using pocket quicken or playing games before the movie starts, it holds things in place most excellently. With something as nice as this Clie, I don't want to put velcro on the back of it's own case. I don't mind it being on the back of a hard case, but I don't want to abuse the Clie. It is too cool!!!! That is why I want a hard case! Franklin Covey is coming out with a page that has a pocket that is for universal use, but I still like being able to use my Clie without even having to hold onto it. Also, the binder sort of acts as a mobile desk top for me to write on.
