I just got an invoice from Sony. They want to charge me $175.00 for the replacement of my LCD block assembly. Apparently it was physically damaged. I did not sense it was since it still worked and there was not a crack anywhere on the display. The only problem was that the lower 1/4th of the screen had digitizer error.
The invoice shows a lithium battery at N/C and the LCD block assy at N/C. However the labor is 150.00 and the shipping is 25.00. What to you folks think?

Ouch! What a rip-off! Paying $150 to people that I consider pseudo-competent in the products that they market! I'm sure the labor wasn't worth it.
thanx for the info, dude.

I am considering just getting it back (will cost me $26.00) and using it as a spare since I already bought the NX60. Actually for the cost of the repair, it would be better to get a refurb one from sony for $25.00 more.
