Any web browsing or chat programs can take advantage of bluetooth if you're using bluetooth as a network connection to the internet. Also you can try typing in bluetooth at www.palmgear.com and it will give you a more complete list such as bluetooth games and bluetooth chat programs.

One reason why I want a BT device like the TG50 is I have some friends with Tungsten | T models, and we'd all like to talk to each other in meetings. That and whenever Sprint PCS releases a CDMA 3G phone (what they call Vision enabled) with Bluetooth, I will be one of the first to buy it. One of the reasons why I'm so strongly considering the TG50 is for it's small size and thumboard for quick and easy data entry. Even after many years of continuous use, I'm still not very good with Graffiti.

Applications such as BlueChat or BlueBoard (can be found on the new Tungsten T box) use Bluetooth communication. I don't know whether Sony will also include bluetooth application in the next to-be-released PDA. I'm pairing my PDA with T68i and I can sms using the included sms software (I try the Dialer but I don't have the bluetooth headseat, quite impractical). I think funSMS has also supported bluetooth since almost a year ago.

I have done some searches on Palmgear and come up with a few programs. I have tried a few of them but non are all that practical. One other issue is the t-mobile service I have. I can't get it to work with my NX and T39. Can anyone give me an idea of which plan to buy from T-mobile to let me access the net? Access being either e-mail or sms chatting.
I can get the NX and the T39 to connect just fine, it's the cell phone service that is killing me. Plus, noone I know has adopted the use of bluetooth. It is hard to
try it our when noone else around me uses the technology.
Well, thanks for everyone's reply.

Ow.. You must clarify the setting with your ISP and mobile phone carrier. I'm in Singapore using MobileOne GPRS and WebPro applications, with proper Network and Communication setting of course, I'm really feeling Bluetooth is very useful. Try the upIRC and ICQ. Both works as well. I think the setting on Network and Comm. prefs must be correct.
