I hate it!!! I hate it!!! I cannot delete it though otherwise, Agendus will not work... does anybody else feel that iambic should make it an option to have?
I find Agendus too complicated to use. It has more features than I would like.
maybe check with SnapperMail (http://www.snappermail.com) if it is working with Agendus. I consider this THE best email application. It is not the fastest but handles almost any attachment and is very stable...
cheers Nicolas

maybe you can try deleting everything, then re-install just Agendus. I don't think there is a requiremnebt to have both, maybe just someodd error you are getting...

Agendus Standard Edition doesn't require the Mail plug-in in order to work .

True, but if you purchased Agendus pro there is no way to get rid of Iambic mail, and no way either to downgrade for free!!!
Funny isn't it?

iamBic has given us two choices. If you want to intergrate e-mail functionality into your daily PIM programs, you have a choice to download their professional version. But if you do not want intergration of e-mail of any kind, you can download the standard edition, which is just the PIM alone.
Let's think about it, why should iamBic intergrate e-mail functions from 3rd party softwares if they have their own e-mail program. Intergrating other softwares require other developers to cooperate with iamBic, and it'll never play nice to each other unless they figure out some definite solutions, like plug-ins. But these kind of things will most likely end up as bugs or incompatibilities since Agendus will eventually upgrade and add more features.
So, intergrating Agendus with other e-mail programs make no business sense.

I totally agree, but obliging you to have iambic mail installed to run Agendus is much worse.... I bought Agendus pro as I was using Iambic mail at that time, then I turned to Snapper. Now I do not pretend Iambic to personalize the use of the mail icon in the agendus application, but I am obliged to keep the useless iambic mail on the palm to let agendus run (this is a bad implementation!!) So I thougt to downgrade to Iambic standard... but this would mean to pay again... this is is a bad commercial policy!!!!
Besides this Agendus is a must have.
