Beware! Patches install to RAM

You all may know this , but the patches sony issue do not save to ROM so if you hard reset your clie they are gone!.
Seems stupid not to save to ROM?

this is typically how patches are done because not every model has a flashable rom. also, a patch may fix one thing but break another, so it is nice to be able to "step back" to the pre-patched state. Usually, the amount of memory used by patches isn't enough to cause any concerns.
