View Full Version : Will sony ever produce something else about the same size as the NR but...

With modern power (similar to NZ's)...
With High Res+
With Virtual Grafiti
And with bluetooth?

Seems like they're getting bigger and badder... The NR is the most complete PDA (without bluetooth though.. and I need the memory stick slot) that's about 2.8 inches wide and that's what fits in my car mount (for GPS).. I'd love to try the NZ, but it's HUGE and wouldn't even fit in there... It's no good if it's sitting in my glove box or on the floor (after sliding off the seat after a turn).

Ya they already made it. It is called the NX. has pretty much evertyhing you want except bluetooth.

Right... But that's it.. I need bluetooth. Right now, my GPS car setup has wires EVERYWHERE and I wanted to get one of the bluetooth GPS units. I've only read positive things about them.

He also said he wants to keep the MS slot free for extra memory.

Besides, I'm not sure if the bluetooth GPS will work with a clie.

Yep, also, mapopolis is developing better software for the palm os that has voice directions and better graphic display capability... But it will require a Palm unit that has one of the next gen processors in it.. Not what's in my NR70V.. Right now, the whole screen has to redraw every second as I'm driving rather than a smooth scroll....

That's exactly what I want. A NX with bluetooth built in.

EXACTLY!! anyway, I posted because it's funny how these things are getting more features but are getting much larger... Like the NR series, I wish the NZ had a model that was smaller but didn't have a camera...
