I'm using a product call Viewlet Builder (from qarbon see: http://www.qarbon.com) to create files.

The resulting file is compiled for playing as a SWF file (i.e Macromedia Flash).

[1]: Is there an app that will allow me to view SWF files in Palm OS 4 as they are? What is the best app for this (assuming there might be more than one?)

[2]: If I can't play raw SWF files is there an app that converts SWF into a format that can be; and once again what might be the 'best in breed' app to do this?

Way Off Topic

If you need to create online demos or support animations check out Qarbon!

If the swf files are purely rolling video, you can convert them (w/o sound using Kinoma producer)
but they can not be interactive at all or it will hang at first screen etc
soooo...basically your demos would have to roll by themselves and not require user clicks or any other type of input and again NO sound
:)
hope that was kind of an answer you were looking for :)

Hentai this was exactly the rely I was looking for: I was using Kinoma but it kept hanging -- the reason being that qarbon viewlets come with a little player bar. Once I compiled a viewlet in kiosk mode (without the play bar) it worked like a charm.

(..now i just have to figure out if there is a reason for having this capability that's worth the $29 bucks for Producer).:D :

bah - I like to think of it as Japanese art LOL
and the DSL bit is actually short for something else
but I guess I should have thought of that before using it on a
tech forum :)
Anyway, has anyone else got any other ideas for os4 flash files besides Kinoma???
