TapPad-like App for OS5 Clies??

Hi,

Toying with idea of moving from my current NR70V to either an NX70 or NZ90...

However, really like my current setup on NR70V using TapPad and NR Buttons. Very efficient setup for me.

My understanding is that eventually TapPad will be updated for OS5. Don't know about NR Buttons.

If I make the switch is there a way to get similar functionality as with TapPad/NR Buttons??

Looks like TapPad might work using TealMaster on your NX. I gave TapPad a trial run and it worked on my NX.

Check out the Wondersilk thread.  It's awfully long, but worth reading.  To let you know, the english version of the app is out, it has minor drawbacks.  There is a Japanese SilkMaker too!

MarkS... don't pay for that. You can get it for free. You can search through this skin for where to download Wondersilk.. the application that lets you have customized graffiti areas. There are dozens of free skins already availible.

Yea they did. I'm using it now. It's excellent. The programer put out an official English version of Wondersilk, bundled with many skins.

This was around before this Zeo stuff showed up. The Zeo skins was uploaded Feb 23rd, while Jim gave us this skin on the 20th.

Hey Tiger, I'd ask for a refund if I was you. Looks like you paid for a skin that was ripped off. I see two buttons that are different, and the number graphics are different. If that is enough to make you want to pay $8, then more power to you. Personally, when I saw that the skin was stolen from someone who developed it free of charge for the community, I would want my money back.

Back to the subject. MarkS, you can goto www.wondersilkskins.com, setup by Jbarr (Jim) for information on downloading wondersilk. There are also many skins, including one that adds TapPad functionality, for free.

Tiger... Patrick (pghart) first came out with a skin that had numbers on the right side of the graffiti area. He did the first TapPad skin I can find on the 17th. Then JBarr released his TapPad skin at 3:25 on the 17th. You can find these posts here...

Who did you test the Zeo skin for? I see that you were an active part of those threads, so I imagined you would be well aware of what skins where made by who, when.

I am very confused. I, like Ocellnuri have had what I have to consider to be basically the same skin way before this particular zeoskin came out. I saw a zeoskin out earlier, but it didn't have the same wondersilk qualities.

What's the deal?

No matter how good Wondersilk + the 'tappad' skin is, it doesn't replicate a lot of the TapPad functionality.

There's no multiple clipboards, left and right cursor, cut, del, punctuation, special characters etc etc.

I think it's great in what it does provide (although a little slow) and the copy and paste don't seem to always work.

It is not a TapPad replacement (yet!).
