First off, no flamers here please.

I am not at all satisfied with the NetFront browser at this point. Maybe it is a stripped version or something else is wrong with it, but it will NOT work to display WML/WAP content.

For the sake of argument here, why is it that PocketIE and EzWAP can both display WML/WAP pages and NetFront can not? Also, how in the name of Hades do I get support on the NetFront browser?

What I want is a HiRes WML/WAP browser for my Clie. Is that so much to ask for? Sony did such a good job with this device but forgot that one important tool.

Yep I agree. Netfront is an ok web broweser, but I dont really enjoy using it.

Really wish they did a better job

At this point I can not recommend any Palm OS 5 device here at work because I can not trust that the installed browsers will work with our WAP/WML gateway server. I need to know that the browser a) will work consistently, and b) work at all for that matter.

Lets not even get into the mail program debacle. That was a HUGE disappointment.

Like littlesix said, more to choose from. I'm trying pocketlink2.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Wow, someone actually wants Wap on their PDA

I think Sony realizes there is virtually almost no demand for Wap/WML; let alone HTML browsers on a PDA.

I have a PPC too and find browsing websites about as fun as having a wizdom tooth removal.

You obviously do not understand some of the business applications of WAP/WML and mobile devices. Having an adequit WAP browser on the Clie would enable us to deploy customized web apps for the platform and allow us to send people into the field without taking a laptop with them, instead all they would need is their PDA.

Hell I would like to see a handheld friendly version of Clie Source. My comp is in the shop this week and I need my Clie at home to browse the web.
