NR70V Hard Reset

My question pertains to the resetting of my NR70 unit so that it returns to the settings as when it first arrived. I believe this is termed a "hard reset". Can anyone assist with this "hard reset" procedure?
Clearly I will back the unit up before performing the reset. Any other risks I should be aware of?
Any assistance or personal testimonies would be helpful and reassuring respectively.

Make at least 2 backups-I had one that was corrupted.

What you want to do is Press the reset hole on the back of the clie, while pressing the power button until the Palm logo appears. Let go of the power button (the reset button just has to be depressed until it resets, don't hold it down) and you will see a message that says something like Reset? You will lose your info blah blah. Press up to reset (the up is on the keyboard half of the clie, at the top in between the 4 hard buttons). There you go. Everything should go well.
