I tried MMplayer and thought the same thing...I couldnt find my files on my stick...What the??? After a little tinkering I found it!!
You tap on the Playlist tab
Tap on the Add button
Tap the drop down arrow in the upper right
Select Memory
Tap on the period under the line with the backslash
Then you are able to access the directory of the stick.

I found the file, but when I hit the play button nothing happens.
The little screen on the top left section of the screen stays the same.

Could there be something wrong with my mmplayer? I dont seemed to be able to find the file after clicking on the dropbox where the playlist tab is.
Btw, my version is 0.0.2
Where can I get the latest version? The ablove link is not valid as I have tried going there.
Pls advise.....thanks

MMplayer really is very good, i'd recommend it (and in fact i paid for it). It's not 100 percent perfect though, partly as the program is still being developed (you download the latest version which is 0.2.10, next one due soon) and partly because the TH55 just isn't good enough for playing what i wanted - unedited full frame (720 x 600 Divx) movies.
However, once you realise that it IS good enough for 320 x 240 movies with a lower bitrate, then it's GREAT.
The next release is due to allow the TH55 to play FULL SCREEN, but at the moment you have to put up with the silk area still being there.
Download it and give it a try (then pay a small sum to release the full version)

But I guess it's no good if the damn thing doesn't play the movies...
