Help With Mpeg

cAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW I CAN PLAY MPEG MOVIE FILES I HAVE ON MY UX50 CLIE. I HAVE THE ON A MOMORY STICK BUT THE MOVIES DONT SHOW UP IN THE MOVIE PLAYER.

1. please press caps lock again and stop SHOUTING
2. they need to be in the right folder on the memorystick as (like always) sony uses cryptic directorynames and I never use mpegs on my clie I would need to use the search button of the forum too to search for "mpeg directory".

actually, when the box says "it can play mpegs" actually means that u need something like image converter to make the file .MQV

Simply wrong: UX50 is capable of playing MPEG1 without converting them to MQV.

Thats right you can play mpeg 1, Make sure you are renaming the movie to something like. MOV00001, and then move it into the MQ_root file, and then move it into the 100MQV01 file. and then in the movie player on your clie you have to tap the pull down menu and then select the movie player option. And then you should be able to play movies
