I have a PEG -SJ22/U which I would like to install some software on. The program is approximately 10 MB and the Clie has approximately 8 MB free in its internal memory. I am also using a 128 MB Memory stick. When I try loading the software onto the machine, I get an error message stating that the installation has failed (apparently due to insufficient memory). How do I get the Clie or my PC to recognize that there is this memory stick waiting to be utilized? Also, will the software be "split" across the Clie's internal memory and the stick? Is there a way to ensure that the program is installed only on the memory stick? BTW, the software requires that I use a reader program called Mobipocket Reader 4.6 Thanks for any help you can offer.

First off you need to buy MobiPocket Reader and install it.
What I state below may apply depending on what the 10mb file actually is. I'm assuming it's just a document or similar media file that you need MobiPocket Reader to view.
To install your large file:
1 - Connect your clie to your sync cable
2 - Select the MSImport program on your clie. This turns your Clie into an expensive Memory Stick Reader for your computer.
3 - use windows explorer (assuming you're on a Windows system) and browse to your memory stick.
4 - Copy the 10Mb file to the memstick by right click dragging it into the \PALM\PROGRAMS\MSFILES directory on your stick.
Unless the mibpocket documentation says to put your data files elsewhere this should be where it'll look for non-resident data to read.
I'm no expert, but I hope I've been helpful

The Mobipocket website Support page explains you how/where to store eBooks on the expansion card.
