TH55 and Palm Desktop 4.1

I'm currently using a TJ25 and running Desktop 4.1. I had run a Tungsten T3 with the latest Desktop version, and did not like it. But the T3 drove me crazy, so I went to a TJ25 and 4.1.

Would there be any problem running the TH55 and Desktop 4.1? Is anybody doing this now?

You'll need to run the CD that comes with your new TH-55. Sony changed the drivers for the TH for hotsyncing. I believe it's still 4.1, but with new drivers.

It is still backwards compatible with my old (now new to my kids)T-615. However, TH-55 users have lost the ability to use Pinstall as bemoaned by some in another thread.

WHAT??!! Please tell me theres a fix/upgrade for that!!! If pinstall doesn't work with the TH55 that is gonna be a total PITA for me...!

Damnit, I wanna get this thing but since it's been delayed so long over here, the reasons for me to NOT get it are just building and building... :(

So far no fix nor upgrade. I just checked. I also tried older versions of Pinstall to no avail... Search for the other thread relating to this issue. I believe the author has been informed of this issue.
