POWERUN hard reset?

WEll I used powerun, but before I installed it i did a backup.
After I installed it, I thought this app was pretty cool. I wanted to try a hard reset just in case it would happen in the future.
I restore the backup, and didn't see the files. am i doing something wrong here?

Open PowerRun, under the option menu hit update shortcuts...they're baaack!

Doesn't this program do the same thing as just transfering it to the MS card directly?

No, powerrun also copies the associated databases and preferences along with the program. Everything that uninstalling the program would delete gets copied with powerrun.
