I just bought a pocket wireless access point/router

for use with my Sony UX50 on my travels. I want to connect my UX to hotel networks to surf the internet. I plugged the beast into my LAN at home, and the UX recognized it instantly, no setup, no drivers and was able to surf the net. Will I be able to do the same at any of the hotels that offer internet access via an Ethernet RJ45 socket?
Do they need to know the MAC address of the device? It came with a CD, but it looks like I don't need it, I cannot configure it using the Palm, so I'd hate to get stuck in the hotel to find it will not work due to some oversight?
