bluetooth + ux40 + os x browse fle problems

i cannot browse my ux40! it says that my device doesnt have necessary services.. where can i download these "services"?

I really can't understand your problem but I think I've experienced this in my UX50 and Powerbook.

I used my UX50 to locate my Powerbook. The Powerbook was found but partly paired. When I tried sending files from my Powerbook to the UX50, the error message was something about missing services.

So I did it the other way around. I used the Powerbook to search for the UX50 and paired them from there. After that, I did not encounter any more errors.

hey. i tried your work around. i have a ux 40 + powerbook mac osx 10.3. my bluetooth connection still doesnt work. it says missing services. any help?

I think the problem is, it has no OBEX-profile. Only the Basic-Imaging profile for file transfer, and it transfers only pictures. Any idea, if it can learn more profiles?
