Runtime error on hotsync--help!

I hope someone can help me.

When I try to hotsync my SonyClie PEG T415, it connects fine but as soon as the hotsync operation gets started, this message appears:

Runtime error!

Program: C:\PROGRAM FILES\SONY HANDHELD\HOTSYNC.EXE

abnormal program termination.



Then the hotsync operation is terminated. What should I do?

Uninstall and then reinstall the Sony/Palm desktop software. It sounds like a DLL file has gotten corrupted or overwritten by another program.
