How do you transfer the video clips from the clie to the PC? How do you change the format (or download the reader) for the movie player format?

Is there a way to record in MPEG format on the NX70/80, or is that just an option to view other videos shot on the camcorders?

Thanks for your help....

Use data import, go to the movie folder, extract them, and you can play them flawlessly with Quicktime player.
I don't think there is a way to record in MPEG format on the NX but i'm not sure on that one.

A little tip: when you move the .mqx files to your computer, just change the extension to .mov, and they become quicktime movie files. Also, if you have Quicktime 6.0 (full version) or later, you can save them as .avi files.

As a follow up...and I MAY be mistaken here, but then again...I'm fairly sure that TMPenc will convert MOV files to MPEG. It's good like that. And it's free.
