Hi, Folks: you may help me clarify what is wireless lan, WiFi, and bluetooth. Recently, I like to get my NX80V connected to internet and email. But I don't know what kind of card I need to buy. thanks for your time.

WiFi and Wireless is the same, is a network made without wires, and the only card that you can buy to get it is the WL100 or WL110 from Sony, this works only if you find a HotSpot for Wireless or you have one at home.

The bluetooth is for connecting your palm to a movil phone, so you can use the service from your provider to get into the internet. You will need your provider to give you GPRS access, and the access number, so you configure your palm to connect trough it.

The better, the WiFi, because is faster for surfing, the more convenient, the bluetooth, because you have access with your cell phone about anywhere.

but the mobile phone would neeed to be blue toothed also. right?
Is there as way of using a cable connection in ethernet that will hook up to the ux-50 usb port?

I checked the supplynet.com and gomadic.com and neither sells cables for the UX so I think you are out of lick unless you get a bt phone.
