Palm Desktop 4.1?

Hi all,

I really want to get my NZ90 syncing to my Mac rather than my PC. For this, I gather I need Palm Desktop 4.1. I've had no luck downloading it via the Apple site, which just leads to a dead page. And although I can get as far as the 'Choose your handheld' screen on the Palm One site, the only models it offers are Tungstens, Palms and Zires. I'm not sure if it matters which one I choose, but I thought I'd see if anyone had any thoughts before I dived in and grabbed the first one in the list. :-)

Anyone got any idea which I should go for, if any? Or better yet, a link to Palm Desktop 4.1 that will definitely work with the NZ?

I had the same question about two weeks ago and could not find any easy Palm Download or a specific Clie version.

I don`t know the differences of the palm desktop versions and how they combine or not combine with the different Clies. I chose the simple "ZIRE" version as a model and the software works well with my TG50/Powerbook G4 Combo. I think the Treo ones or more complicated models are different? You cannot download them anyway, so it might be just a marketing instrument for them to know what model you have?

I have a Tungsten T and downloaded the Mac (OS X) version of the Palm Desktop for it from the Palm site. I recently bought a Clie UX50 and it works fine (with Missing-Sync for Clie) with the Palm desktop software that I had previously installed.

Now that that's done, is it possible to sync my NZ90 with iCal, does anyone know?

Scratch that - got it sorted. simply bought and installed Missing Sync and everything works perfectly!
