Hi all,
A public beta version of Lightspeed v2.0 is now available.
The biggest addition to v2.0 is that Palm OS 5 devices with Texas Instruments OMAP and Motorola i.MXL/MX1 processors are now supported.
New CLIE models that are supported include the TJ25,TJ27,TJ35 and TJ37.

If you were using the last version and also had any of the newer applications from SplashData installed , you would receive an error when those application icons were drawed in the table of applications. ( Seems the never applications from SplashData used a slightly different format of the bitmap family resource for their icons than what is generally used, which confused Lightspeed. )
A work around for this is one of the fixes for the 2.0 version.

This beta works great. It does indeed fix the scrolling issue.

By the way, how much interest is there in a version of Plucker that includes a Lightspeed API, i.e, that lets you underclock everything, but that automatically ratchets up its speed for some CPU intensive stuff: searching, initial formatting, reformatting, autoscrolling?

Please post a feature request on bugs.plkr.org . This will give me ammunition to convince the rest of the dev team.
