Hi,
I would really like to get rid of picsel viewer altogether; I think it is more trouble than it's worth. Jacksprat does not yet work on OS5 Clies I think; any ideas as to how I can delete it?

I forgot to say that I now have a NX73V not NR70. It's wonderful, (except for picsel viewer)!

The picsel is in the rom, and you cant touch it, so i just recommend you to ignore it.

Cause I really would love to get rid of all the language packs on my europe nx70 to free some flash ;)

I thought JackSPrat already worked for OS5, just not Sony's OS5 devices. I remember reading something on their site that a Sony OS5 compatible 'sprat wasn't to be.

No Jacksprat will never work on OS5. They have been releasing the Jack** and they are in their Beta stages for more than a year. I guess some other company has to initiate action to develop an application to access ROm. If it is the case of ROM what in earth is sonty doing with not releasing the ROM access API. I love whe people talk about tailored ROM for Sharp PDA's.

Works on some OS5 devices, but as stated, not Sony OS5 devices. (Yes, this is a beta, but JackFlash has also been in beta for a long time.)

Will Picsel Viewer work on a NX70V? I have a UX50 w/ Picsel Viewer and was thinking about copying it to my NX70V. I quickly tried to beam with no success.

yep, I think it will go on your nx70v, I have picsel viewer on my Nx70v, but its from the TH55 rom. you need (with the th55 at least) 3 files, the main one, the core engine, and english language pack, oplus there are a couple others you can add to be able to view pictures, but they mess with the camera and anytime you go into the camera or movie recorder it resets.
