Just typical window message

Quick Time Player has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.

blah blah ~~

I've never had a big problem with QT on XP. I had one issue that appeared to be related to the Winamp mini-task (winampa.exe in Taskmanager) but when I killed that, the install was fine. This was on Win2K.

How busy is your taskbar? Have you tried killing any extra stuff running there then re-installing?

I don't want to distract from the help that the person who started this thread is getting' but I am also having a problem with quicktime. Whenever I try to play one of my clips that I pulled off of my clie it says something about putting in a disk and I have to click on a bunch of these error messages that are the same thing except for the number (like hard disk 4 the 5). I have tried reinstalling quicktime at least 3 times but I still get this error message after clicking about 20 of these messages I can then play the movie. Any help would be appreciated!
