My 128M stick is running out of space with apps and MP3s....

If I get another stick just for MP3s, then I can no longer have background music....

I have just one 128M stick for my Clie. I allocate about 60% of the space for MP3s and the rest of apps and data. I find that this is sufficient as I rotate the MP3s I have on the stick.

cheers,

one for apps and one for music. If you start the app (which copies it into RAM) then put the music mem. stick in and start the playlist using the remote control, you can do both at the same time...

my clie's are the only thing that I own that use memory sticks so I only have 3 128mb ones. but I do have about 2 dozen memory cards (cf, smartmedia, sd, xd, etc) I swear, every device I own has to have its own memory card format.

(2) 128MB Purple. But I am waiting for MS Pro 256MB for mine. That way I can send one of my 128MB back to my Sony Camera. 96MB free on one and the other is full from MP3's.

Well, since my lowly N610 doesn't have an MP3 player, I have two sticks, but only use one.

1) 64MB SanDisk w/ 38+MB still free
2) 32MB Sony (freebie offer that came with my Clie after months and months of waiting!)

Got a question for you guys using the NX for mp3.

How many battery hours do you get? I had bad mp3 experiences with my iPAQ, only 1 hr.

Never really timed it, but with the hold switch on, I imagine I can get about 3 hours. I just went to Connecticut and back, about a 2 hour trip, started with 100% came back with about 55% battery life.

While we're on the topic of memory sticks, who has the Lexar "enhanced" memory stick with the totally awesome and necessary green flashing light?

..personally, I find it annoying that now there are two flashing lights when I play music..

Oh well, I got it for cheap! :)

One for use with apps and pictures, thanks to PowerRun it is nearly full of apps and documents.

One for use with video.

I RMA'd my Flashing light stick to Lexar as it would not work in a card reader, my wifes T615 or a friends F707 camera. Lexar replaced it with a standard, non lighted stick.

I plan on getting at least one more 128 for music.

It's no wonder Sony didn't want to put out a CF memory driver, look at all the lost MS sales it would have had.

I've got two memory sticks...

1x128 MB
1x64 MB

I got the 128 at the same time as the Clie itself, and my wife recently gave me the 64, along with a nifty little aluminum case which can hold a total of eight memory sticks.

Honestly, I've really only used the 128 so far... I've downloaded some songs onto it, I've got some pictures of my dogs (taken with the Clie itself), and also a few short movies.

Cheers!

I have 4 - 128 MB sticks, 1 - 64 MB stick and 1 - 32 MB stick.

Two of the 128 MB sticks are for audio and one of the 128 sticks is for pictures/system backup/programs. My intention was to use the other 128 MB stick for either video or audio, but I haven't gotten around to using it yet. The other two sticks I picked up cheap at a fleamarket and haven't used yet (they may go with my N710 when I get around to selling it).

I have four 128mb blue memory sticks, one I use as my *main* one holding all my everyday apps, the second holding a movie for the day, the third for all the docs I use for reference (I have about 300-400 docs of varying sizes) and the last is for fun (games, e-books etc).

I have one 128mb white magicgate memory stick purely for music which I get sonicstage to change every week or so.

I have four 64mb memory sticks. Two of which live in both my Sony digital cameras, the other two reserved so that when the first two get full up, I then swap them.

I have four 8mb memory sticks that are used as 'floppy discs', (my kid brother & sister pass on their homework for me to check over by sticking on their work on these 8mb memory sticks like floppy discs).

I have two 16mb memory sticks, both used for my dictaphone, although lately, my kid sister has been using it since my NX70 can be used as a dictaphone :)

Surprisingly, I don't own a 32mb memory stick ... Then again, not really sure what I'd use it for as I'm happy with my setup ...

Then again, you can never have enough storage, so I guess when the extra-size capacities start becoming available, I'll be able to stick on a number of CSI episodes and maybe some films too :)

Yep, that's what they all say...:D!

Actually a 32mb stick allows me to keep two MS Backups of my RAM. Then I leave that stick stuck in my case, just in case:)!

I have three 128MB sticks and one 64MB stick. I may sell two 128MB sticks and get a 256MB one when it comes out. I use those two sticks right now to record lectures at school. It's annoying to swap sticks all the time.
