Did anyone here have to install Picsel Viewer on their NZ?

I couldn't find it in mine so I copied the files over, but no luck. When I copy them a Picselviewer installer.prc is there, but I can't run it. Can't even see it from the launcher, but furtunately I was able to delete it as it took 1.7MB of space.

so if anyone has the rundown on this I would appreciate it.

Also, I have not been able to figure out how to use the video out function. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks!

you have to use the cd and go to your add on accessories. then install only the picsel viewer. then hot synch it and you will be okay

i installd it from cd, but have since deleted it.

It is a nice program but has too many limitations, one has to be run from RAM, and too big, two, can only open files, and kind of slow.

Either way isilo is much better IMO

Launch Clie Album and open up an album, then view one of the album pages. You'll see a little icon near the top (second from left) which looks like a circle surrounding a right-facing arrow. Press that button to output video to the TV (still images only, not video clips).

The major drawback to the video out is that you have to FIRST have pictures in an album. Then, as pdagal says, once you're in the album, you can click on the video out icon and it will come up on your TV screen. The camera has little icons that let you put the pic you just shot into an album, then it can be displayed on the TV.

I was disappointed by this limitation. I thought I could display all my slides in the photostand app, but can't unless I put them in an album first.

Thanks to all for the info. I think I'm going to skip picsel. My YiShow does all I need for picture display and I'll check out the album output. does the Clie have to be in the craddle or does the headphone output work as well?
