Memory Stick Pro 256 Mb

Hello Everyone! I'm having two problems with my Sony Clie NX70v:

1) I recently received the Sandisk Memory Stick Pro 256 MB to use in my Sony Clie NX70v. It doesn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I return it?

I think it's because my Sony Clie can only handle 128MB memory sticks (which I didn't know). I purchased it so I could watch movies using the Sony Video Recorder.

Any suggestions???

2) Why can't I use SONIC STAGE to transfer music CD's into my Sony Clie memory stick? It says it's out of memory when it tries to load the first song. It's using ATRA3 files. Any suggestions????

First of all, using the Audioplayer, you can only play mp3 format audio. And as for your 256MB MS Pro, you will need to download driver updates to use any "Pro" MS.

Had the same problem until I went to the above site and did EXACTLY as it stated.... and I mean EXACTLY. Bought the Sony MS Pro 256M when it first came out and my Vaio laptop GRX- 550's MS slot would'nt even recoginize the stick!!! It sat around until I got feed up with buying toys and not being able to use them. The fixes worked and I see a definite increase in speed over the purple sticks when I run programs from Power Run. DO IT!

browse through their support pages
find the mspro driver
download

rinse and repeat
