This is indeed a great deal, BUT I dont see the 15$ off. This is still good, but I have a problem with REfurbs.


THe way refurbs get back to sony is because someone returned it. THis leaves two options. THey didnt want it/need it, or it didnt work properly, and that is the only reason i am reluctant to buy it. will you direct me to the link to get $15 off, because i went there and the only thing it said was SL-10 Clie. THis is a great deal though, but I am hasty to try a refurb.

But the WRONG specs...

OVERSTOCK is great BUT beware... THE PIX may be misleading... contact them to MAKE sure that it is delivered with the headphones & remote.

I have a refurb SONY MiniDisc... works GREAT but one model did not arrive with ALL of the cables I wanted...

Many times they SHIP some peripherals or NONE with the equipment.

My friend just got one from there... EVERYTHING was included, EVERYTHING. The only difference was a sticker on the box that said factory refurbished. Refurbs can be bad, damaged, etc. In the case of FACTORY refurbs it means they have been tested, and restored to the original factory specs. Better than used, almost as good as new. In some cases refurbs are BETTER than new. The NR70 for example. Refurbed NR70s have had the memory stick problem alreasy fixed! Dont be shy about factory sony refurbs, they sell them directly from their own site as well.

I just bought an "open box" (read refurbished) Sony camera. I saved $200 right off the top, got the full warranty, and it came with a known problem already fixed. Not a bad deal! And the camera works great!
