That's funny. Too bad they didn't go ahead and load it up with Hires+ while they were putting OS5 on it ;)
The people who make these press photos just really just not understand the products as well as we would like to think they do.
I notice that it shows being in stock in Seattle. But I can't find the item yet when I search at there site nor at BestBuy or Compusa. How did you find the item on there website?
I'd rather send my business to one of the other chains, but if they won't have them for a week, tough decision....

I know what you mean! After taking many advertising courses in college, it really bothers me! The whole concept of understanding the customer is flushed down the toilet!

Aces - I simply went to www.circuitcity.com
Right now its only available from direct shipping. You can optionally locate nearby stores and add them in and it will tell you if they are in stock at the time. For me the two local places I chose are X'ed out.

Saturday afternoon I got my SJ33 in a Seattle area CompUsa
Cost. $299. Decided to get a 64Mb Memory Stick for $34 with a $15 rebate as well.
Wompratz, thanks for the information. I picked my SJ33 at a Circuit City here in Seattle. After mine, there were 2 left at that store (Tukwilla). But they didn't have any on display. If you knew they had them and asked, the'd check inventory and pull one from their back warehouse area.
I would have checked CompUSA, but there was no info from them, and unforunately I just now read dg06763's post. Anyway it's charging, and I hope to post on my experiences with the SJ33 soon. :)

Be interested to know how those with the new SJ33 compare it to the SJ30 in size, weight, speed, color and feel for a plastic case.

I have bad unit per SONY REP!
Reason,
Stylus to small for the SLOT!!! Otherwise it is a good device.
I am thinking of returning it to the store or else I will end up loosing my stylus. (already drop the stylus more than ten times)
Anyway I have a case number.

There is design fault with SJ33 according to the technical supports of Sony HK. The IR Hotsync does not work.
Only when you connect it with power supply, you can use IR hotsync, there is not solution yet. Awaiting the factory to resolve. Sony may get back all the SJ33 from the market.
I bought it already, I got the same problem with mine SJ33. How about you?
