I suggest you do a search on this site. This topic has been beaten to death. Also you might check www.Launchplug.com for a chart of features of most of the launchers.

Try them both and you decide. You have thirty days.

and by the way, all those backgrounds in the yishow background directory (on cliesource) work for zlauncher also. It is kind of misleading.

Has anyone who bought YiShow from Palm Gear been able to download and run the latest version that we should be using for the Clie. The initial release was not the Clie OS5, but another one? I can't get the updated and I cannot get the file to work, and no response from YiBing.

Have you tried recently for v5.3? You should be okay now if you get the one for the Clie.

I suggest you send a brief note to each developer asking them a simple question and see who responds... This will go a long way in telling you what kind of support/attention you can expect in the future.

I'm still waiting for replies from my emails sent to YiBing in November and December.

Cheers,
Rich (Blatantly zLauncher biased!)

Try them all - I tried the lot and settled on ZLauncher.

Does any one know of good skin sites?

I tried both and ended up buying ZLauncher. YiShow ended up giving me 'fatal alert' messages immediately after I launched it. I had to 'hard reset' my unit just to get rid of YiShow. I like ZLauncher. It works just fine for my purposes and the ZLauncher folks seem to be very support oriented.

that's because you must've DLed the wrong version of yishow :P

The funny thing was, it worked OK the first 3 or 4 times I used it (YiShow). After the first 3 or 4 times of use was when the 'fatal alerts' started. I couldn't trace the problem to anything other than YiShow. So that's when I got ZLauncher. It's worked fine.

Now ZLauncher has a built-in file manager in beta v2.3. The link is somewhere in the clie apps forum. Very stable and the new file manager is awesome. I deleted all my others, except Clie Files.
