Man....Im Frustrated!!!!!!

Hey Guys,
I am getting extremely frustrated by my new Clie UX-50, Ive had it over a month now and I have no idea how to put pictures or a music video I downloaded from WinMX on the clie without a memory card. I haven't bought a memory card yet. Is there any way this could be done? Can anyone post me directions on how I can do this...........Man, Im frustrated. Hope you guys are able to help me. Thanks

It can be done but bro, buy a card. You will maximize your UX by no less than 90% by doing so.

Buy the biggest card you can afford, preferably a Pro.

Buy MS. Rename movies MOV00001.MQV, MOV00002.MQV, ect. put music in Palm/Programs/MSAUDIO directory.

Well, since even if you followed advice and bought a card you still wouldn't know how to do it, I think I'll expand on the previous answers:

The simplest way to import video and audio is to use the data import tool (on the UX) and the data export and image converter (on the PC). Link your UX to your PC and then launch the data import program on the UX. Launch the data export tool on the PC and just select the mp3s you want to transfer. For pictures or video, launch the image converter on the PC and do the same. The image converter will translate the video into the right format, change the name, and place it in the appropriate folder.

When you get better at making your own videos, or if you want to bypass the PC software, using data import will allow the UX to show up as an external drive on your PC and you can just drag the files to the right folder yourself.

All of this is covered in the FAQ at the top of this forum in greater detail.

make sure on data import, (on the clie) it says internal media, not memory stick.

I don't believe you can put those types of files in the main memory, but have to use the internal 29mb memory or an external memory stick. I would advise a memory stick, the prices on them are reasonable. You can get an MS Pro 256mb starting at about $65.00. It is probably the best investment you can make for you UX (except for maybe an external battery).
