Hey all - I am a current NR user with a TON of medical apps on it.

Some of these are most of the 5 minute Clinical Consult series, as well as iSilo and MANY medical books on the MS.

My question is does anyone know if these are compatable with OS 5?

Naturally, I would be reluctant to upgrade to the NX if this is not so...and if not, any ideas on where I can get OS 5 compatable medical apps?

Also, what's the learning curve on the NX? My NR is just about perfect now; will my experience with it help me w/ the NX???

Thanks!

Skyscape books will work on it, so will the Lexi Reader, and iSilo (get the newest version). All of the apps that I used on my retired TRGpro work on the NX.
As for the learning curve: fuggeddaboudit.

The 5min clin consult series works as well (at least the demo did before I deleted it). iSilo is fantastic. Take a look at the medical forum...

There really isn't a learning curve on OS5 or the NX especially if you are familiar with the NR. OS5 seems very similar to OS4 but does offer vast improvements.

As far as software is concerned- Skyscape has a ton of references for the medical profession and works with OS5 and so do all iSilo docs. Don't be relucant to upgrade. Many/Most developers are offering support or will be soon for OS5 of some kind in their apps and programs.
