I charged my NZ90 to 100%
Made sure it was totally charged.
So far and not done yet with test, I have taken 60 different pictures with flash, and battery still going strong currently at 89%
I am waiting to see if it really is 89% and not adjusting before contining.
Btw, the settings were set for 1600x1200, Normal Flash level, backlight on but at minimum since that is all I use it at anyway it is so bright.
So far I think 60 pics with flash is very good, and much better then what people were compalining earlier in other threads.
I will keep on doing the test and let you know how it turns out.

Up to 86 pics with flash so far
80% battery remaining..
the pda is starting to get warm now, which I think is nromal for a digicam..especailly after taking so many pics, happens to my olmypus as well.

well I stopped for now...and will finish test tomorrow..but I think I prooved battery life is much better then what some were complaining.
Now granted all I did was take pics, and only leave the camera app and restart it 2 or 3 times. I guess during the course of the day you might start it 10-20 times, and that might take more energy up, but I dont think we have anything to worry about regarding battery life if you charge it right.

I charge my Nz90 the amount of time it tells me to charge it in the manuel. So if that isn't working what exactly is the right way to charge the battery?

how did you initially charge the battery when you got it? were you one of those(like me who charged it till it said charged) or overnight?
this is what I see on mine:
75% charged.
turned on camera app. no pictures taken. dropped to 38%. Took ONE picture with flash. got out of camera program and waited. It went up to 70%
What do you think? Something wrong? And my last recharge was from o% battery to a full 7 hour charge.
I do have BT on and backlight at 50%.

I charged it a good full 5 hours, waited about an hour even after the light went off.
But I think if you are having issues, you should drain like others said and do a full charge then charge overnight.
One thing I did notice and forgot to mention is once you load the camera app, it does drop your battery maybe 35-40%, but only for about a minute, because then it will go right back up to what it should be.

At a 85% battery life I took some pics but while powerup camera it brought my clie battery life down to 45. I was able to take like 20 pictures without flash at 640x480 res. im at 35% now. When I am out of the camera prog My percent is at 55% battery life.
When charging the clie on the cradle the charging light turns off when its done? if it does its never done that to me. I've drained my battery dead and charged it for a good 5 hours and its working way better now. I did this about 3 days ago.

Davy, sounds like me, I was doing the drain the battery thing last nigt, kept using camera until it went to 16% (yes, if you tweak it, it will do that) I think this battery has more life than most people think

The battery life isn't bad, but the inaccuracies of the readings are making it seem like it is.
