What is the longest amount of time that a TH55 could be stored without being used or carged, all alarms and notifications turned off, keys disabled.
The reason that I am asking is because I amy be going into the military soon and I'm wondering if the battery would last through basic without being used at all.

Everything saved on the RAM will be gone. I would leave it at your folk's place (mom) plugged in the wall.
What branch, btw? Am I talking to a fellow Devil Dog?

Use Backup Buddy software. Sync it just before you leave for your basics. The power of the TH will die off eventually and when you come back, charge it and sync it. Everything will be back to normal or the way it was when you last synced.
Why take the trouble to charge it when you dont use it.

Why take the trouble to take it to basic training when you don't use it? If you leave it at home, you might as well plug it in.

I meant to leave the unit at home. Eventually the battery dies off.
Backup Buddy will sync everything back.
If have plug in without any supervision, for me I wouldnt want to take the risk having plugged in for a week or two.
Anyway, mine's with me all the time.
Why leave it plug in when you dont need to use it.

I'd have to strongly strongly advice against bringing it to basic training with you (USAF Flight 477 BMT, grad date 20Jun03). Don't bring anything not on the list they give you. I left my PDAs in storage at my folks house and lost everything by the time I got back, but my tech school was 5 1/2 months long. My advice, sync, backup everything, charge it all the way up then pack it away. I've friends in the army and marines as well so if you have any questions about basic that you're recruiter may seem to side step around shoot 'em my way.
