New DA

ClipperOpen(URL): The DA works nicely, immediately launching NetFront to display the site associated with the clipped highlighted URL in any document.

Awesome- thanks! I hope it opens NF 3.1 on my CLIE, and not 3.0. Some apps seem to work right for me, some don't.

It's not working for me. This is what I have done-

1. Installed ClipperOpen
2. Put it on my Appshelf side menu
3. Highlighted a URL
4. Opened ClipperOpen via side menu
5. Nothing happened.

I also tried by copying a URL into the clipboard and then opening ClipperOpen, but nothing happened.

Please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

First go to your document. Highlight the URL. Launch ClipperOpen with a DA launcher like DA_Launcher or Hi-Launcher. NetFront then starts up, asks for WiFi log on, then opens up the URL site.
Easy!

Okay, now I know what happened...

I copied a URL that did not have the 'http' prefix, it was just 'www.cliesource.com'.

Does your app check for this? Normally you can enter a URL in NetFront without the entire prefix.

I would prefer to have ClipperOpen use the highlighted text, regardless of prefix. Sometimes I write down 'www.', other times I just write down the domain name.

But either way, it's a great little DA! Thanks again-

Looks like its needs the full Monty, unfortunately. I guess the 'http' prefix is what triggers the DA.
