I have been looking for the perfect holster case for my NX80V and I found it in the Krusell Horizontic PDA.

You can see it at this link: http://www.krusell.se/product.php?s=2&prodGrp=&product=713

Unfortunately, I have only found a few retailers that sell Krusell. They aren't the usual online vendors I am used to dealing with or have heard of in the past. Also they don't carry this model.

Does anyone know of reputable retailers that sell a full line of Krusell cases?

I just got my case today from ebay. $19.99, no shipping. I won on the 8th and got it on the 14th. I LOVE the case. I had a metal case for my NX70V and wanted metal for me NX80V, but no one has it. I am not disappointed !!

I followed your link, and the case you (and apparently also the unregistered poster above) have ordered is Krusell's fitted NX73/80 case. The Krusell Horizontic case is a horizontal holster. You actually take the handheld out of it each time you use it.

I want an easy way to carry my NX80, but I hate the added bulk when actually using the thing.

I had my secretary at work order the one from SFPlanet.com on Tuesday. I'm hoping it arrives by Monday.

Thanks for the reply, though.

This looks like a connected style of case that is a part of the PDA while in use...you mentioned a holster, that would slide out. The link seems to show a connected style of case, am I interpreting this incorrectly?

Reason being is that I am looking for a holster case, please confirm a link to that style of case.

Thanks,
Steve

macattack,

Let me know how it fits. I might be interested in one myself.

I did alittle research on sizing, Case/NX80V:

Case: 0.79 x 5.12 x 3.15
NX80V: 0.88 x 5.25 x 2.78

According to these numbers it won't fit in the case.

You might want to look at another case by sony, PEGA-CA92/R ( http://www.locate-massachusetts.com/Sony_PEGACA92_13095.html). You can purchace it from CompUSA & Curcuit City. It's a vertical pocket pouch. I am using one right know & it's very stream line to the body. But I'm still interested in the Horizontal pocket pouch.

Also, SFPlanet is a good online source. I ordered a few time from them without any problems.

Steve,

I'm not sure whose link you're referring to. If it's mine at the top of the thread, yes, the link points to a horizontal holster case @ Krusell's site. If it's the response by GaryJohnSr, it is to a connected case, just as I mentioned immediately below that post.

I will try to remember to let you know how well it fits when it arrives early this coming week.

I'll let everyone know how it fits. Krusell's site specifically mentions the NX80V as fitting. I am assuming that the narrow sides of the case are elastic or gathered leather so that there is some give and yet snug enough to hold a variety of devices securely.

I just got the Krusell Horzontic case. It really fits beautifully. Snug, but not too tight. I didn't have to force it into the case at all, as Spawn's dimensional comparison might have suggested. (Spawn you really had me worried after reading your post.)

It's a perfect fit. I'll try to post a picture or two when I get home this evening.

Sorry Jet Jockey, but that isn't the one.

This is Krusell's fitted case. It stays on the unit when you are using it. The one I bought is a Krusell "Horizontic PDA - Medium." It can be seen at my link at the top of the page. A few weeks ago I looked everywhere, including Ebay, for it. The only state-side place I found it was at SFPlanet.com.

Ok folks, I was going to post pictures of my NX80 in its new case to show how well it fits, but I had no luck. I noticed while typing this post that the rules for this Forum do not allow attachments. What's up with that? Am I missing something?
