hard reset

this is a dummie question, but how do you do a hard reset? and what would be the advantage of doing that? i understand that when people refer to hard reset they mean something different from unscrewing top off yer stylus and stucking it up the pda's back.

just got my t665 recently, my friend's bet is that i'll put away the toy after 2 weeks - still waiting for that to happen ;)

I have a reset primer on my website (see sig below). Push the reset pin in the back while holding down the power button. When the screen comes up asking what you want to do, push page up to finish the reset.

Note that you should rarely ever have to do a hard reset. Doing so will wipe all data on the device clean and return it to the factory memory loadings.

Make sure you back up your handheld with MSBackup regularly....

It will help after a hard reset...........

Unless you like having to install eveything again......
