Discuss styli for the SJ series here.
I have a pdapanache stylus (http://www.pdapanache.com/products.asp?PID=SSJ) that I'm relatively happy with. It isn't as heavy as I thought it would be, but it definitely feels better. The long orange tip is nice, too.
The only problem I've had is in conjunction with my DSI case. Apparently some of the paint has scraped off the stylus when it has rubbed against the DSI case.
Anyone have experience with other replacement styli that they can share?

I have the Innopocket styli (chrome and matte finish). They feel more solid and slightly heavier than the stock ones, but not heavy enough. Of course, being slightly larger than a toothpick, you'd need a pretty dense metal to add some heft to it. It has to be slightly thicker because there seems to be more friction when sliding it into the silo. I like the white tips that are on both ends of it.

I really like the Proporta stylus. A slightly tighter fit in the Clie slot than the too-loose original. The biggest negative of the sj30 when I got it was the 'toothpick' stylus. The Proporta stylus is much better in the hand - more weight and matt surface is grippy. The tip is broader which makes writing more comfortable and I think less prone to scratch. Matt silver finish is a great match for sj30 (looks original item) but they do a chromed version too.
Styli are really important. For me jog wheel doesn't lessen need for stylus. I find I'm using the jog wheel most as replacement for up-down button when scrolling in stuff like AvantGo.

For external, multi-pen, styli I would recommend the RotRing quattro and treo series. Some already have the stylus built in and if not you can buy an insert.

Does anyone know where I can get one of those Proporta styli in Canada?

I find the original stylus on my SJ30 fits great! I had a T415 and used the O ring from a lighter fix so it would quit falling out all the time. The SJ30 stylus has that neat little turn and drop in and has never been loose on mine.
I use a 3 in 1 pen stylus combo that I got from a dealer on Toronto about 3 years ago and it works great. Nice weight and good quality. Unfortunately it doesn't have a manufacturers name anywhere on it or the box it came in.
