how come some of my *.avi files can be converted whereas some cannot? when i right click on the *.avi file, there is an option to "convert for Clie", but when i select that option, it says "file format is no supported". but its an avi file?! i have a whole stack of southpark avi files that i cant convert.

also, when i right click on some avi files, the option to "convert for Clie" is not even there?!

i had no problem converting a mpg file that was about 36mb (which nicely converted to a 5kb file :P), but for some mpg files that i try to convert, it stops converting halfway and the program crashes.

Simple answer: Cause noone uses the search button of the forum and noone reads the sticky posts on top of forums.

The same avi question is asked more than once every week and I personally have answered it about 10 times, so I am sure you can find your answer using the search button in this forum.

And this time no short answer from me ...

Sometimes, finding the answer to one's question can be really really hard to find with the search feature, you guys.

then read and read and read

or search more accurately

putting in "avi" is going to give you TONS of results
but if you use AVI and Image Converter
or something like that, you'll narrow down results better

And with me telling him that I personally gave the answer tons of times (at least 3 times last week) he might be able to find it faster than I can retype it.
