i assume you are using pocket mirror (if not this won't help even a little bit)

in pocket mirror settings there is a place to set auto archiving or delete (been a long time since i used outlook so i can't remember it exactly). just turn it off.

I have the same question also. I didn't realize it till today but it seems like my past datebook records have been deleted also with the exception of repeating events.

I don't use outlook though just the Palm Desktop. And btw how do you restore the records from the archive. Do you just import it back into the Palm Desktop program?

Thank you for any help that you may provide.

Figured out the solution to restoring the datebook records to the Palm Desktop.

File-> Import-> User folder-> Datebook-> unfiled.dba

Intellisync has a toggle in the advanced settings for the datebook to (1) transfer only future items, (2) transfer all items, or (3)transfer items within a range of days. In the Intellisync Configuration, highlight datebook, then click on the Advanced button. This will take you to the advanced settings. Click on the date range tab.

All old items will be transfered to your Clie on the next sync.

I think this may only be a problem with the Palm Desktop with Clie. After about 4 or 5 weeks of using the Clie Desktop I switched to the Palm Desktop for Palms and haven't had a problem since with my records being deleted.
