Help! I get the following error on my new TH55 every time I try to sync with my Mac:

"MemoryMgr.c, Line:3725,Nil Ptr You may need to restart the handheld by performing a soft reset. Please press the RESET button."

My TH55 is frozen every time and I need to reset with the paper clip every time. Has anyone else had this problem? I am using a PowerBook G4 1.25 GHz, 512MB, OS 10.3.3, The Missing Sync 3.09, Palm Desktop 4.1, iSync 1.4 and iSync Palm Conduit 1.2. The last entries in my HotSync Log on my Mac is "...Backed up FreeNote category; OK backup; Backup syncronization failed."

Thanks for your help.

Well, I'll reply to my own post. I did a HARD reset and I stopped the TH55 from freezing. No more paperclips! My guess is that there must have been a corrupted file somewhere and the hard reset wiped it out. The Address Book and iCal now sync. Woohoo! :)

HOWEVER, I still can not get iTunes or iPhoto to talk to the TH55. I am also still unable to get the Memory Stick to mount. :(

Has anyone got their TH55's memory stick to mount in OS 10.3.3 or been able to get iTunes or iPhoto to communicate with their Mac?

Okay, I'm replying to my post again! I've figured everything out, thanks to Jigger's post in this thread --> linky (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=544408#post544408). Basically, I am now finally able to mount the memory stick using the "Data Import" program on the TH55 (note: there is no "MS Import" program, as mentioned in the documentation for The Missing Sync). So I think everything is now working!

Hello there,
I got the same error message "MemoryMgr.c, Line:3725,Nil Ptr You may need to restart the handheld by performing a soft reset. Please press the RESET button." , but on a Windows machine. I tried the same solution you did (by performing a hard reset) and it worked fine for me. Thanks for your post!

Also don't forget when done with Data Import, click the hard drive icon representation on the Mac desktop and Eject it to dismount, before clicking "Disconnect" on the Clie.
