How do you use virtual dub for audio?

Hi, I have read some of the posts but I am afraid I still dont understand. When I try to recapture the movie for use with IC and change the audio to WMA it saves it as seperate file.

On video select direct stream copy, on audo select full processing and select PCM (not wma), than klick "file/save avi as"
and save the file.
that's it, you just changed the audio to uncompressed in the avi
