I've decided to sell my NX70v, mostly because of its size compared to other newer models, as well as the size of its internal memory. I'm expecting about $300 for it, and I am deciding between the zodiac (1 or 2) and Tungsten T3. I may consider the TH55 also. I don't want to spend much more than what I get for my NX, but I'm more than willing to get it on ebay or otherwise previously used. Suggestions?

You could also wait to see what PalmOne is releasing next month.

And if you have access to the developer conference going on in San Jose, Tapwave is selling their Zodiac $100 off their retail price at their booth.
That means:
Zodiac1 ~> $199
Zodiac2 ~> $299

I was in the market for the Zodiac before I bought my TG50 (which was a steal at $150 US) and now my wife has a TH55. These are two of the best little machines I've used. You'd be very happy if you bought a TH55.

Procrastination is the Key! :D
The long you can procrastinate, the more better devices will appear :D
Otherwise, is there anything you specifically want from the new one or didn't like about your 70?
Or is this just one of those "Upgrade for the sake of it" things? :)

Im still dragging along with my NR70. I keep inching nearer and nearer to a UX but I hear a lot of praise or the TH55. Whats the big selling point for the TH55? I'm not sure I see what sets it apart from the others.

If you must upgrade now, I Highly recomend the TH55, as i have had no serious problems with it, and battery life is simply awesome with the DSP for MP3 playback,
If you wish to play the game Legacy, alas it is not compatible with the sony handheld engine processor.
that is one of the only problems i can think of at this moment,
the TH uses the Standard sound API, so you can use more Palmos programs than with the NX series, such as Pocket tunes, aeroplayer, and may many other sound enabled apps.
The Built in wifi is excelent, and unless you need to transfer something directly to memorystick, you can use Wifi to do syncing, wich is just damn cool. i use it daily, usually even more.
Shoutcast streams can be played via wifi and pockettunes 2.x,
what could be cooler than streaming music off the internet to your clie in your pocket?, though it will use up the battery after a few hours of play like this.
with the built in mp3 player software, you can easily get about 24 hours!!! of mp3 playback, possibly more if you use Cliepet's underclocking tool durning playback, you can underclock the main cpu a great deal since the dsp is a seperate chip.
Hope this has been helpful.
also if you can wait, Sony has said that there will be more "clamshell" Units soon, possibly this summer.(UX style, Not NX)
Thanks for listening,

Have you think about TJ37 with built in WIFI?
I personally love to have a TH55, I like the UX's thumb pad but scared off by price shock.
Anyway, TH55 is very attractive.
Have a good one.
