I have a TJ37.
Tried Sony 128 MB Memory Stick and SanDisk 256 Memory Stick Pro

I have managed to convert several movies with EasyVCD(it rocks) and successfully converted them with 1.1 I end up with 2 files 50-120 MB depending on the many settings I have tried.
I followed the settings for EasyVCD in a few threads and the video converts beautifully on any setting in Easy VCD or IC. About 2-10 minutes in the 3 movies I tried, when I played them, they stalled,. I deduced it was a sound error so I played around with the settings in easyvcd and then decided to strip and convert the sound with vdub. I tried high end to low end and some in between and then converted but still the same problem. I know it's the sound and have some more settings to try but there are many and to attempt conversion with numerous combinations of settings does indeed take awhile(I have a 1.8 AMD athlon, but still, time consuming). I'd rather not spend the next week trying but it looks that way. Does anyone have a combination of settings that produces effective results? I would share my trials and failures if I could produce positive results.
I am using Kinoma Player 2 that came with the package software for the tj37 and am about to attempt to use another media player. Perhaps this is the problem. At this point I am troubleshooting the obvious although I believe I have covered most already...
Any suggestions.. Thanks!

And BTW, I chose the tj37 over the TH55 after reading threads here. It's my new favourite site! Great community...

You don't mention what kind of output you get from EasyVCD...
