Does anyone regret after buying the T665C.......
Myself, I should get a NR70 or NX60 (without camera) instead.
What do you guys think ?

Nope, I love my T665... I think the NR/NX series are too big and too fragile...
The only othe Palm OS device that even comes close to me, is the Palm Tungston|T. Even that's not enough to make me buy one.

I think the T665C is the best workhorse PDA on the market. It does everything a PDA should do, while still fitting in a pocket. This is my seventh handheld, and by far the best. I can't think of a better model from either camp (Palm or PPC). The number one complaint I tend to hear is about battery life, yet mine has never fallen below 75%, and I use it a LOT! If I were taking a long journey without access to any kind of electricity, it may not be the best choice, but this just isn't the case. I can ALWAYS charge it somewhere. So what's the problem; why the regret? What does it NOT do that you wish it did?

Well I don't own a 665. I used to own a 615. I switch to the NR, and now my nx because of virtual graffiti and the camera. But if the 665 works for you, great! I still think that my 615 was great.

I agree the T675 is (or now was) one of the best PDA's. I used to work in retail in my last job.
I had literally hundreds of customers that bought various PDA's from PPC's to Palm OS PDA's so I got to learn about the various complaints of many of the then latest PDA's.
I eventually went for a T675 myself instead of a Tungsten T. The Tungsten is really good too.
But when it came down to MP3 capability and screen quality, the T675 wins.

Well, I believe that it's common for someone to regret buying their handhelds because as time changes, you might need those features available in the higher end models. That's how I personally feel because I have been in your situation.
You could sell your T665 and buy an NR/NX, or keep the T665 and buy accessories for it...

I originally bought an NR and returned it because it was too big and bulky. I was also worried that the hinge might be fragile.
Bought the T665 as an open box unit from local Best Buy store for $239.99.
It is great in every respect. Metal case is great (newer units just released may be plastic.)
Display is fantastic. I didn't buy it for the MP3's, but find that extra feature very nice.
I love my T665!

I thought about the same thing...but after using a friends NR70 the swivel was really squeeky...and I thought to myself i'd have to hit that with a little WD-40...then thought the NR probably wouln't like that.;)
I chose a 665 over an N series because I liked the smaller size of the 665 and didn't think I'd use the keypad on the NR much (if at all). The NR was cool, and somewhat tempting, but I was also afraid that the swivel might be a weak point.
Haven't felt like a made the wrong decision for even a fraction of a second...

I really like my T665. I have been in love with the T series form factor since I first saw it. It is so...sexy. :) I bought the T416, then the 615 and ended up trading in my 615 for the 665 due to a battery problem. I will be sticking with it for awhile. It does everything I need and more. I don't need the camera, I have one, so that never attracted me to the NR or NX series.

I just bought the T675 and then have had to exchange it due to Shop misshandling breaking some of the box contents (losing others) :) so I get a new one Tuesday, tha actual PDA works fine,
now I gave thought to paying the extra £50 and getting a TT due to Bluetooth, but after playing with both side by side I can honestly say I made the correct choice originally, the demo Clie wasn't charged up so I couldn't try it, and went off recommendation (I'm either brave, stupid or lucky! ) the Clie was far better quality,
I have since also looked at the big new clunky clamshell designed Clie's and they do nothing for me *shudder* way too much like a StarTrek speaky thing (I'm not a big fan of Trek can u tell?)
so I am staying with the T675 and I have a second chance to change my mind.

I've had my T665C for 8 months and I still love it. Nothing has a better form factor with an all-metal case, or a better screen. The MP3 quality is great. It literally never leaves my pocket except to sync or charge. I'm going to have this puppy for quite a while.

still have the T665. Pre-order the NZ but cancell it once I got the detail info on the TG. The TG has the form factor I wanted and all the feautures and functionality that I had wish for in the T665. I guess the one that sold me on TG is the form factor (it looks like T665.)

I recently upgraded my T-615 to the T-665 (about a month or two ago) and love the T-665! I have no plans to get rid of it any time soon. I'm extremely happy with the screen resolution, speed and the MP3 playback.

I just upgraded my T615 to a T665 as well and I love it! Its small, slim and has an excellent screen...not to mention speedy enough for my needs. I managed to check out the NZ for the first time yesterday, and good lord, its HUGE! Talk about a Swiss Army Palm! I'll take the T665 any day of the week...and since I have no interest in Bluetooth technology at the moment I don't need a TG.
The T655 is the perfect Palm IMO.

If you don't have the need for the BT, then a T665 would be good enough. What interest me in TG is OS5, 200mhz, BT, keyboard (good for long SMS), voice recording, piscel, and MS Pro.

I have been very satisfied with my 665. A lot of good features, size, speed, display, etc.
I had an older palm and was thinking about getting new PDA. Last Christmas my wife asked what I wanted. I had read that the 615 was a nice PDA so I added it to my Christmas list. Well my wife went shopping and could not find a 615 so she asked what replaced the 615 and did it have the same/more features - 665 for Christmas.
Next year I think I will put a BMW M3 on my Christmas list (one can always hope).
Laff at all you people wasting money on T665 when you can get H1910.

If you don't have anything useful to contribute to a Clie board, there are lots of PPC boards you can troll on. We come here to share Sony Clie and Palm OS help, not to listen to PPC trolls. Please move on.

I just love my T665C. It was a total surprise to me -- when I bought it I was merely looking for a color PDA that I could see outside (couldn't do that with my IIIc). . . .
I bought it sight unseen, not having looked at ANY PDAs, , based strictly on user and other reviews about screen clarity and speed. And somehow in all of that I think I failed to pick up on the critical difference between a 160x160 screen and a 320x320 screen -- tho obviously that was a key factor in the reviews on screen clarity.
When I think I could have possibly, in my ignorance, decided to buy a Palm 515 or 505, I just shudder.
The Tungsten-T was coming out (but not out yet) at that time, and I ruled it out as 1) too expensive; 2) too fat; and 3) too fragile (with the sliding cover).
I love the size of the T665C for my somewhat small hands. 1/4 inch makes a huge difference for me in holding a PDA comfortably.
Since I don't use it for e-mail or online work or for juggling between a corporate office and home PC, the T665 has enough features to satisfy me for quite a while. Its enhanced features -- particuarly screen, speed, and unlimited storage capacity with the stick -- mean I'm using it a LOT more often than I ever used my IIIc (and I used my IIIc a decent amount).
I'm so happy with it I'm not even reading about what's coming out in the new models <g>.

I've had my T615c since July of last year and almost a month ago one of the guys at my work came in with his new T665 and I was just in awe of its screen...The colors were richer and more vibrant, the overall speed was SOO much smoother and the final nail in the bucket? MUCH speedier memory stick access... The next day I popped back on Cliesource and then refreshed myself with a visit to TankerBob's (Keep up the good work :) ) and I just knew I had to make a last ditch run to pick up a T665. I went down to Circuit City hoping they weren't too discountinued that I could manage to find one and bought the very last sealed model. a couple days later it wasn't even on their web site.
Next thing I know I got my father scrambling at the local stores looking for one to replace his ancient Visor...he just couldn't resist that screen. I really love this thing, I actually use it a lot more than I did my T615c...ZLauncher alone runs so much nicer on it and the memory stick speed just makes it so much more usable now. Plus I am in the process of throwing some audio books on my new $29 after rebate Lexar 128 mem stick :D

I'm very happy with the T665 as well. Great size, great screen, great speed. I was worried about the battery length when I first got it, but it is really not an issue for me. I would like it to use the MSPro though...

Actually if anything I would like to see compatibility with MP3 Pro. MP3Pro files are half the size of regular MP3 files. That I'd like to see!

Your confused MP3 Pro is a very small format that never took off, if they were going to add a new format it should be OGG Vorbis or WMA9 codecs which are indeed amazing.

What exactly am I confused about? I'm well aware of what MP3 Pro is. I truly doubt if MS will ever license WMA9 codecs for use in a Palm OS operating system considering Palm is major competition to MS in the handheld market.
