Screen Problem....?

There's an issue with my TH55 screen, i hope it does not develop into a problem. As i am i first-time PDA owner i just wanted to put it forward and get everyone's feedback.
I've the TH55 for exactly 2 weeks today...twice in this time when i have switched it on the screen is set on the dimmest mode...you basically cant see practically anything!
When i tap screen brightness it suddenly comes to life....!

is this normal?

Sounds to me like you have inadvertantly turned off the backlight by holding the power button for a second or so.

Sounds right to me. I've done this myself too. No big deal, it does give you a fright though!!

Hehehe --- I remember the first time I did that back on my T615 -- I thought for sure that I had broken it.
