nx70 wl-100 problem

I can't seem to get it connecting to the internet...I'm putting in verizon wi-fi as the SSID and it still doesn't connect..should I change to irc or cradle??

is that what the SSID is supposed to be?
and maybe turn off powersave

the book says to put verizon wi-fi in the ssid line, but it still is not working..

Are you in range of a Verizon access point?

i'm just trying to set it up right now from my desktop..in the cradle..
