Well...I tried LCD Analyzer 1.2
LCD Analyzer allows you to check the quality of Palm LCD. It can be used for inspecting for dead pixels or dust on your Palm LCD.....etc.
So..yes I found 1 dead pixel on my NX70 and honestly kinda bother me after paying Can $999 and (bought my NX 1 month ago)..yes it is only 1 pixel but 1 pixel should not pass Quality standards….well I am assuming.
So my question is:
Anyone else with dead pixels around?

I have a half-dead pixel on my NR70, half the time it remains blue, the other half it works. Spooky.

I have like five dead pixels but they keep shifting. Not all of them are "dead" at the same time!

I had 2 dead pixels, one in the top right of screen that didn't show much except through LCD Analyzer; the second was in the VG area, so I saw it a lot. They annoyed me, so I exchanged mine through Amazon. It was very easy, since I was under the first 30-day period. Keeping my fingers crossed, but I've had no dead pixels on nx60 #2!

I think Sony has a disclaimer in it's warranty for dead pixels and is not covered.

I hate dead pixel(s) and more when Sony disclaimer warranty “might” (don’t know yet) specifies that you/me the proud clie owner must live with it.

Are you sure you didn't do what I did. I have a dead pixel on my NR and I thought it was moving around. It turns out that its "movement" was caused by me switching from tablet to open mode. The dead pixel is still on the same part of the screen, it just appears to be somewhere else...

I have an annoying dead pixel on my NX on the same part of the screen at all times and does not appear to be somewhere else at all.
amazon has a really good exchange policy on returning stuff, just returned my nx for dead pixels, and my ipod because it wasnt working well. sent me a replacement OVERNIGHT!!!
